Terms & Conditions

When you make a booking through us you are confirming that you and every holidaymaker understand, agree and accepts these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

  • Rentals are for a maximum of 2 weeks and commence at 4pm on the first day of the rental and end at 10am on the day of departure.
  • The period booked will be stated on your confirmation sent by email to the guest when they book. The period booked cannot be exceeded.
  • If a booking is made 8 weeks or more before the holiday is due to start, a deposit of 30% is payable. If booking The Priory, a 50% deposit is payable.
  • If a booking is made on or less than 8 weeks the full amount of the holiday is payable, including a non-refundable fee.
  • The booking fee and deposit are non-refundable.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 56 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
  • If the booking is cancelled 56 or more days before arrival a charge equal to 30% of the stay will be made.
  • If payment is not received by the due date the non-payment will be treated as a cancellation of the holiday and will lose their booking and the deposit will be non-refundable.
  • In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
  • We are not responsible for sending out reminders of the due date.
  • Guests are required to take out cancellation and holiday insurance.
  • Payments may be made by visa debit/delta, visa credit, maestro/switch/mastercard.
  • To pay for any losses or damages to the property and contents caused by the guest or a member of their party and inform Mullicourt Priory Barns so items can be replaced or repaired to the arrival of future guests.
  • To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition. If Mullicourt Priory Barns are dissatisfied with the condition of the property upon guest departure, there will be an additional cleaning charge of £25 per hour.
  • On departure doors must be locked and key left in the key safe at the front of the house. In the event that the keys are not returned then a charge will be incurred by you the guest to cover locksmith costs to change and replace keys.
  • Not to exceed the total number of people or pets stipulated in the property.
  • Not smoke inside the property, smoking is permitted outside the property on the conditions that all cigarette butts and ash are cleared and disposed of by guests before departure.
  • At all times comply with any applicable laws and local or government guidance and ensure that no guests or pets do anything which is illegal, or may cause unreasonable damage, noise, behaviour or disturbance to neighbours.
  • Not enter the property before the stated arrival date and time and will leave the property before the stated departure date and time.
  • Secure the property (including all windows and doors) whenever leaving the property.
  • We accept no responsibility for personal injury to, or death of guest or anyone they invite to the property, or loss of or consequential loss or damage to their property, or for other matters over which we have no control.
  • Nothing in these clauses excludes or limits the liability of Mullicourt Priory Barns or the owners. For death or personal injury caused by Mullicourt Priory Barns. For any matter which it would be illegal for Mullicourt Priory Barns or the owners to excluded or attempt to exclude their liability.
  • Any food left at the property will be disposed of at the time of the changeover.
  • If a guest or member of the party leave any personal belongings behind at the property after departure the guest will be charged the cost of postage and packaging for return.
  • If any holidaymaker has an allergy to dogs, please be aware that Mullicourt Priory Barns cannot guarantee that a dog has not stayed in a particular property. Neither can we accept responsibility for any suffering which may occur because of such animals having been present in a property.
  • Dogs must be always under strict control while in or at the property.
  • Any fouling must be cleared up without delay.
  • Dogs must not be left alone in or at the property or elsewhere at any time.
  • Dogs must not go upstairs on beds or on any furniture.
  • Young dogs under 6 months must be declared to us at the time of booking and authorised by the owner.
  • You will be liable for any damage caused by any guest’s dogs. Any damage is to be reported to the owner immediately.
  • Please do not take dogs to properties where Mullicourt Priory Barns have stated that pets are not permitted.
  • Mullicourt Priory Barns reserves the right to refuse a booking from all male or all female parties of groups under the age of 18.
  • All complaints must be notified to Mullicourt Priory Barns as soon as reasonably practicable, as Mullicourt priory barns may be required to carry out an on-the-spot investigation and if necessary, request the owner to take remedial action. Guests have a legal obligation to mitigate their loss.
